Serenity Montessori Academy located in Fairfax, Virginia is an in-home faith-based early childhood program rooted in the Montessori philosophy and inspired by Islamic values. We serve children ages 0 to 6 in a nurturing, peaceful environment that supports their natural development and spiritual growth.

At Serenity, we believe that every child is born with fitrah—a natural inclination toward goodness and learning. Our thoughtfully prepared classrooms are designed to foster independence, concentration, and a love for discovery through hands-on Montessori materials and child-led exploration.

As a Muslim Montessori school, we incorporate Islamic teachings into daily routines in a gentle, age-appropriate way. Children are introduced to the beauty of the Qur’an, Prophetic character (akhlaq), and the foundations of salah and dua through stories, songs, and practical life lessons. Arabic is woven into the curriculum with a focus on recognition of letters, simple vocabulary, and developing an early connection to the language of the Qur’an.

We partner closely with families to ensure that each child feels supported not only in their academic journey but also in their faith and identity. Our goal is to raise children who are confident, curious, kind, and connected to their Creator.
